Unlike the "regular" LG Stylo 5, which has been available on a number of big and small US carriers for several months now, the slightly improved Stylo 5+ exclusively arrived at AT&T just a few weeks ago. 

But cash-strapped digital pen lovers might be excited to hear the "all-new" device is already on sale at a pretty significant discount. Normally priced at $300, the LG Stylo 5 Plus can be currently purchased for 150 bucks less from both AT&T and Best Buy. That's a full 50 percent markdown, mind you, and although you have to meet a couple of essential requirements to save all that money, we're talking pretty standard stuff when it comes to these types of killer carrier-specific deals.

Namely, you need to agree to a monthly installment plan, and if you decide to shop at Best Buy, add a new line of service to an existing account or open a fresh one altogether. Even better, the deal is valid directly from AT&T for existing customers merely looking to upgrade their lines in addition to the two aforementioned categories of the major carrier's subscribers. 

Basically, anyone can pay just $5 a month instead of $10 for two and a half years, bringing the LG Stylo 5+ grand total down from $300 to a very reasonable 150 bucks.

Available in a black paint job only, this "Plus" variant is not larger or equipped with a faster processor than the non-Plus Stylo 5. Its key upgrades are a 16MP rear-facing shooter and 8MP selfie camera, improving on the modest 13 and 5MP imaging sensors of its forerunner. The rest of the main features are unchanged, including a middling Snapdragon 450 SoC, a 6.2-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and reasonably thin bezels, as well as 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 3,500mAh battery, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, pre-installed Android 9.0 Pie software, and above all, a built-in stylus with some neat note-taking tricks up its sleeve.
